SPIT: 90 Minutes of Hip Hop

The Guardian and MTV report that a US judge has halted sales of Biggie's 1994 album Ready To Die. Bad Boy Entertainment and executive producer of the album, P. Diddy, were found to have illegally lifted parts of the song Singing in the Morning by the Ohio Players. Diddy ended up having to pay US$4.2 mill to the owners of the Ohio Players recording.

Biggie still continues his post mortem success, with the Duets album recently reaching platinum sales.
